Psychological Skills Level 2 Training

Working freelance with the Oxford Centre for Education & Research in Palliative Care, based at Sobell House Hospice, in Oxford, I have developed and deliver this 2 day course suitable for Clinical Nurse Specialists and Allied Health Practitioners in Palliative or Cancer Care who have already undertaken Advanced Communication Skills Training.

The course includes advanced communication skills refreshers, enhanced understanding of psychopathologies, offers different methods for assessing needs including the need for onward referral, and self-care. It also presents a number of interventions to manage psychological distress suitable for professionals working at level 2. The course is delivered face to face in Oxford and utilises a range of learning experiences.
